Orangutans are supposed to be the member of great Ape family. Their name came from native Malaysian communities as Orang Hutan meaning �Person from forest�. Their main habitat is lowland tropical forest. They use their long hands, which is longer than their legs, to swing on tree branches. Their skin is covered with hair and they can weigh up to 90kg. Their life span goes up to 40 years. Orangutans are omnivorous animals that like eating barks, fruits, insects and other things.
