opossum
Opossum are mainly found in the continent of North America. They are medium-size animals who are found inhabiting in the farmlands, woodlands and forest areas. They are also known to carry rabies. They have long prehensile tail with sharp claws.
They are omnivorous animals and like to eat anything like earthworm, insects, snakes, birds, frogs, fishes and other small animals. An opossum can live up to 7 years. They can grow up to 18 inches and can weigh to 6 kg.
