There are different species of Squirrels. They are found mainly in the continents of Africa, America, Asia and Europe. They are small rodents who can grow up to 30 cm and weighs up to 1 kg. They can live up to 8 years.
Their main habitats include dense forests and woodland region where they find plenty of food for them to eat. Squirrels are omnivorous animals who like to eat fruits, nuts, shoots, seeds, berries and insects. They like living solitary life.
